Malick H.B Jallow Esq.

Malick H.B Jallow Esq. is a Gambian Lawyer, Jurist and Human Rights Activist. He studied law at Holborn College (UK), University of Buckingham (UK) and Kenya School of Law (Kenya). Presently, Mr. Jallow works as a the Principal at the Law Offices of Malick H.B Jallow and is also a Senior Law Lecturer at the University of The Gambia where he teaches Criminal Law, International Criminal Law, Law of Civil Procedure and Constitutional Law to undergraduate law students. At the University of the Gambia Mr. Jallow also serves as Chairman of the Academic Affairs Board and has also served as Acting Dean,Faculty of Law. Mr. Jallow also serves as Legal Consultant for the European Union and the United Nations on issues pertaining to access to justice and the rule of law. He is Founder/President of the Malick Jallow Foundation for Children(MJFC). Mr. Jallow is also accredited diplomatic status by the Government of the Gambia since 2017. Previously, Mr. Jallow worked with the United Nations Special Court for Sierra Leone, the International Criminal Court, the United Nations Development Programme, the Ministry of Justice of the Gambia and the Institute for Human Rights and Development in Africa, amongst others. He is the author of several publications pertaining to Human Rights, International Criminal and Humanitarian Law and Children’s Rights.
